Video is often left aside because couples think it’s a splurge and not a priority, so it’s usually the first budget cut.

But actually, video is one of the best investments you can make, of course, you’ll love your pictures, print them and hang them all around the house, but the video will give you two things that a photo won’t.

#1 - Context

Context? Yes, context. Thru motion and a few seconds of the same sequence will give the context of the action that you are seeing.
For example; If you are laughing in a photo, after a few years you might not remember why you were laughing, but with video, you can see and interpret the context of the situation. It’s a basic example, but you get it, it adds that third-plane that photography lacks.

#2 - Audio

This should be the BIG reason to get a videographer on your elopement. Being able to listen to your partner actually reading your vows, hearing their laughter, that tension relief, their nervousness, those emotions, all the love that was put into those words, but especially on the emphatic reading, you will never get that back.
Audio is also the only way you can make your friend and family really enjoy your wedding as you did. Photography is great to have beautiful images of you two, the magical locations you elope at, and even to showcase on your social media, but without video, they’ll never be able to really see how beautiful your wedding and ceremony were.

HAIR & MAKEUP

You HAVE to do it, that we all know.
The question is; are you good at it? And if you are, do you want to invest the time for it?

You are investing in a wonderful elopement in paradise, you already have a professional photographer booked that will get photos that will be hanged around your house for years, are you going to “just wing it”? I really hope not, at the very least, do your own hair and makeup, but do it, it will improve your images so much.

We have great local professionals with years of experience, which will also have all the necessary equipment, so you can bring more swimsuits and leave your makeup kit at home.

I’m not going to say this is a must by any means, but it does add to the Hawaiian experience. Eloping at the beach with the ukelele soundtrack playing in the background is what most people think of when talking about getting married in Hawaii. So that’s why we offer you the choice, but this comes down to your style and vibe.
